MEDIATION

Mediation

Mediation is a confidential process in which a neutral mediator helps the parties communicate, identify the issues in dispute, explore possible solutions, and work toward a voluntary agreement. The mediator does not decide the case. The parties remain in control of the outcome.

ARBITRATION

Arbitration

Arbitration is a structured dispute resolution process in which the parties present their positions and evidence to a neutral arbitrator. Depending on the agreement between the parties and the applicable rules, the arbitrator may issue a binding or non-binding decision.
